The survivors reassemble after a year and a half (which is only several weeks in Fear the Walking Deadcast time) to discuss the season nine opener of The Walking Dead. The war is over and the world has moved on to a peaceful more cooperative existence, or has it. Things are mostly thriving, but the cracks in Rick Grimes vision for the future are showing and there might be a more civil war on the way. The former Saviors are uneasy at the Sancutary, Maggie is ruling Hilltop and still dealing with sniveling Gregory and the discord hes sowing, Daryl longs for the “good ole days” and Ezekiel is playing house with Carol. Its a rousing discussion about the season opener and the future of the franchise with the imminent departure of star Andrew Lincoln looming on the horizon.
