In episode 190 of the Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo returns to discuss two of the strongest episodes of Season 3 of “The Adventures of Superboy”, a two-parter different from nearly every episode of the series.

What happens when Superboy thinks that he may have killed a man? What does that do to his self confidence and is that enough to get the Boy of Steel to hang up his cape?

Its also the most grounded story, a very crime noir tale that could stand up there with the best episodes of the first season of “The Adventures of Superman,” as soldiers from a Caribbean island – which gives the villains a distinct accent – but a fictional home.
