Listen to the Prophets #13: The Storyteller

Do you wanna hear a story? Well, if you are watching along with Paul Spataro, Shawn Engel, and Andrew Leyland, you might hope for a better one as today we’re covering the first season episode “The Storyteller“. When Chief O’Brien and Doctor Bashir travel to Bajor for a medical emergency, a twist of fate puts the Chief in the role of spiritual motivational speaker for a “village” of people who have to use “the power of positive thinking” to fight off a strange cloud creature. Yes, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds. But there’s also a secondary plot involving Jake, Nog, and a thirteen year old Bajoran leader that balances out the weakness of the “It Takes a Village” aspect of the show. Plus there’s general tomfoolery and discussion that you would expect from the three of us.
