Coverage of Season Two Episode Five

Thomas and Scott are back to cover season two episode five of The Avengers, and the snooze fest known as “Mission to Montreal”. Were introduced to Dr. King, a pale, stone faced substitute for Ian Hendry in an episode that barely takes place anywhere near Montreal. A train wreck of a Hollywood starlet is taking a ship to her hometown in the Great White North, but first there will be some international intrigue along the way and pills, so many pills. Dr. King, master of the expressionless gaze is infiltrating as the ingénues personal physician and pharmacist and he acts as if hes taken some of his own medicine, but we get some great side characters and Steed as a ships steward serving everyone else the champagne for a change. Come along for the trip and suffer with us through this one, Venus Smith is back next month to make the pain go away with some songs.
