It is nearly All Hallows Eve.\u00a0 And as such, 3rd<\/sup> Degree Byrne is pulling out all the stops to give you a Halloween Special!\u00a0 Well actually, we\u2019re just covering stories that might, I say, might, have a tie to Halloween.\u00a0 Are they scary?\u00a0 Not really, but hey when was the last time a comic book scared you beyond the price point?<\/p>\n

Join John Hijatt, Kirk Greenfield, Tim Elliott and Brian Hughes as they cover two very early stories in the career of John Byrne.<\/p>\n

First is a short story from the Nightmare Magazine #20 of 1974.\u00a0 It is a two pager titled \u201cThe Castle\u201d.\u00a0 This is probably Byrne\u2019s first paid work in the industry.<\/p>\n

The Second story comes from Giant-Size Dracula #5,\u00a0 and it is Byrne\u2019s first work at Marvel Comics.\u00a0 And while it is in a Dracula book, Dracula himself is not in the story.<\/p>\n

Lastly as the episode was a bit short, Brian Hughes and busy father David Thompson look over some Facebook Byrne Victims memories about the John Byrne\u2019s Series: \u201cThe Man of Steel\u201d.<\/p>\n
