This will be a SPOILER FREE exploration of the Miniseries Comic Books: “Thanos Quest” where Thanos obtains the Infinity Gems; “Quasar” #26 when Thanos first arrives on Earth; and “The Infinity Gauntlet” 6 book series that some would say is the defining event in the Marvel Universe (616). Where did the gems come from, who is Thanos, what is his motivation??? As with any great literary adaptation the movie differs from the books.
