In episode 93 of the Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo is going to hit the halfway point of Season 1 coverage of Super Friends.
And were going to continue with our theme of villains who are doing the right thing for the wrong reason. Meet Kolbar. His people have messed up their home planet and need a new one. So of course they choose Earth.
Theres only one problem. They like it hot and in order for Kolbars people to live, humanity will find Earth “Too Hot to Handle”.
Then were going to meet Dr. Rebos. Hes a robot maker. And he frames members of the super friends for his crimes as he sabotages the space program.
But again its for a good cause. Lets focus on Earth people before we had out into space. Heroes will be dumb, Superman will be captured but he might be needed to save the day.
What will happen when the Super Friends meet “The Androids”.
