In episode 86 of the Man of Screen podcast Mike Zummo finishes the first half of Season 3 of Filmations The New Adventures of Superman and The Adventures of Superboy.
This season has become something of a revelation for Mike as the extended Superman stories have made for much richer storytelling than the previous format allowed.
First, you will see what happens when a banished queen comes to Earth and finds the Warlock in “The Team of Terror” and then Superboy will find out what its like to be worshiped as a god in “King Superboy”.
Then a professor will send some iron balls bouncing off an asteroid and send them crashing to Earth. So find out who forecasted the “Rain of Iron” and then Superboy will face off against he “Double Trouble Double Moon”
