In episode 82 of The Man of Screen podcast, its the penultimate episode as Mike Zummo covers Season 2 of “The New Adventures of Superman” and “The Adventures of Superboy” by Filmation Studios.
First, a professor looking to develop honey will accidentally trigger “The War of the Bee Batallion”. Superboy will face off with the “Finger of Doom”, and then well go back to the giant insect motif in “The Toymans Super Toy”.
And then things will get interesting as Metropolis is bottled up in “The Cage of Glass”. Smallville will go to the dogs in the Superboy episode, “Krypto, the K-9 Detective” and then Superman will take requests in “The Atomic Superman”.
