In episode 178 of the Man of Screen of podcast, Mike Zummo heads into the back third of the second season of the Salkind-produced television series.

First and foremost, were going to address some unfinished business. Superboy was forced to leave Earth by two beings that convinced him they were his long-lost parents, Jor-El and Lara. There will be a reveal. Who are these people? What happened to Andy?

And then were going to have a brush with fame. Well, yes, Superboy has always been famous, but now hes going to meet someone else who is famous, a rock starlet? Superboy falls for her. Hard. But is she who she says she is?
