The Man of Screen Podcast Episode 168 – Superboy: Succubus/Luthor Unleashed

In episode 168 of the Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo covers the final two episodes of Season 1 of Superboy, which brings with it the end of John Haymes Newtons run as the title character.

The first episode were covering isnt as good. It deals with a virtually immortal being sucking the life out of all of the young people she can find. Shes got TJ wrapped around her finger. And shes using that to get close to Clark and by extension, Superboy because she needs his youth.

The question becomes how does Superboy cope with the “Succubus”?

In our final episode of Season 1, were going to go full comic book as were going to see a side of Lex Luthor weve never seen before. Were going to see the beginning of the Greatest Criminal Mind of Our Time. Hes done playing stilly games and cons. Now hes stealing military equipment, selling it o the highest bidder and striking women.

Superboy better watch out because we are going to encounter a “Luthor Unleashed”.
