In episode 134 of the Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo invites some guests over and takes another divergence from his coverage of the Superfriends.
This time hes joined by Patrick Delmore (The Next Generations First Generation), Dario Gonzalez (Eat It & Beat It) and Brian Hughes (3rd Degree Byrne) to discuss “Superman III”, believe it or not, the third movie to feature Christopher Reeve as Superman, and the second to be directed by Richard Lester.
As many know this movie was quite different from previous installments, didnt perform well at the box office, was critically panned and nearly killed the franchise.
But what do these guys think? How has time treated this film 36 years after its release? Is it as bad as they remember? Does it have any redeeming value? Or is it a bunch of garbage?.
So come, forget to do your laundry, lets hit the junkyard for “Superman III”
