The Man of Screen Podcast Episode 131 – Superfriends: The 1981 Shorts Weeks 1 and 2

In episode 131 of the Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo goes back to animation to for coverage of the 1981 season of Superfriends, another group of three animated shorts.

First, Batman and Robin get caught by a bunch of intergalactic cowboys in “Outlaws of Orion”.

Then the Wonder Twins find their way into trouble when they make the worst possible use of their “Three Wishes”.

And then what episode would be complete without the Superfirneds fighting a giant insect army as a growth serum puts them up against “Scorpio”.

Then in the next segment were going to get a DC Comics villain in plotline that it appears weve seen before when the Superfriends, sans Superman, get caught up in “Mxyzptlks Flick”.

Then were going digging, and Superman and Wonder Woman are going to come with us. On a trip underground to meet Diamond Jack and his robotic cobra after the fall into a “Sink Hole”.

Then were going on an archaeological dig where we meet El Dorado and encounter and “Alien Mummy”.
