The Man of Screen Extra Episode 35 – Die Hard 2

Its Christmas time and that means another Man of Screen Extra episode celebrating Christmas, covering a piece of media that has a connection to Superman on TV or in the movies.

So, this time around, Mike is going to be covering that Bruce Willis-starring Christmas classic. No, not that one. The other one. Everyone rants and raves about how much of a Christmas film, “Die Hard” is, well, its not the only one.

It also has a sequel that celebrates Christmas, maybe even more so than the original did. At least this time it snowed on Christmas Eve.

So, lightning is going to strike twice for Lt. John McClane as his wife is held hostage in the sky as terrorists take over Dulles an international see as McClane gets caught up in the action and ultimately its left to him to stop the bad guys, save his wife and basically hang on by the skin of his teeth.

All our favorites are back as all the notables from Nakatomi Plaza happen to be converging on the same place. Does that make sense or is it too much of a coincidence?

Does this stack up to the first film? Spoiler: Probably not, but is it a fun experience nonetheless?
