Dark Specter tells Astronema that she must destroy Andros, but she’s starting to remember her past as Karone. Can she kill her brother? Then, can the Rangers trust Astronema to take them to Zordon, or will she end up betraying them?
When Carlos starts doubting himself after accidentally hurting Cassie in a battle, Adam returns to try to help. Then, the contents of Astronema’s locket finally brings an end to Andros’ search for his sister.
After Zhane saves Astronema from a monster attack, both of them develop feelings for each other. Then, while searching for Zordon, the Rangers are captured by a group led by a minion of Dark Specter.
Andros is jealous of Zhane when he perceives friendliness with Ashley to be flirting. Then, Zhane works to restore his powers while Astronema schemes to use his limited morphing time against him.
Astronema uses Body Switcher to make her look like Ashley so that she can board the Astro Megaship. Then, while the rest of the team deal with “Jawas” and a monster, Andros’ old friend returns to help the Rangers.
After taking a beating, the Rangers learn that the key cards from last episode give them access to new Mega Vehicles, which they use to take on Darkonda. Then, Storm Blaster retrieves Justin to save the Rangers and Storm Blaster!
T.J. gets amnesia during a battle where Darkonda merges with Ecliptor to become Darkliptor. Then, Andros realizes that it was Darkonda who kidnapped his sister, so he heads out alone after the villain, obtaining some keycards from Eltar in the process.
While Ashley’s visiting Grandma is busy trying to find her grand-daughter a husband, Astronema sends Mamamite to plant her metal eating babies under Angel Grove. Then, Darkonda arrives with a Barillian bug, whose sting will eventually turn it’s victim into another Barillian bug!
Due to a mysterious space lightning storm, Craterites from the simudeck become real and escape to Angel Grove. Then, Cassie meets a monster who doesn’t want to be evil.
