Welcome to the VERY FIRST Pop Culture Affidavit podcast! Once a month, I will take a look at something completely random in the world of popular culture. Sometimes it’ll be movies, sometimes it’ll be music, sometimes it’ll be comics … it’s honestly whatever is catching my attention at that moment.
For the first time around, I’m going to talk about “How I Spent My Summer Vacation” … or as I called it, GEEK YOURSELF 2012! (yeah, it’s a dork of a name). My summer included movies like “Prometheus” and “The Avengers” as well as a trip to the Baltimore Comic-Con.

A dear friend once said to me: “It’s a lot of fun when everyone’s a dork of some sort or another.” As I look back on my life as a dork, I realize that not only have I geeked out, but not in the right way. My taste, you see, isn’t great. But instead of hiding from that, I’ve decided to embrace it.
