In the ninth episode of Origin Story, I go back to The Transformers with issue #28 of the series, which is the return of a recurring villain named The Mechanic. Plus, I take a moment to talk about movies that were out at this point in 1987, especially the Sylvester Stallone “classic,” Over the Top.

A dear friend once said to me: “It’s a lot of fun when everyone’s a dork of some sort or another.” As I look back on my life as a dork, I realize that not only have I geeked out, but not in the right way. My taste, you see, isn’t great. But instead of hiding from that, I’ve decided to embrace it.
