In this week’s ball-extinguishing episode, the nearly-year uninterrupted miniseries dedicated to one specific theme, topic, character, idea, nose-berry or storyline continues!

On top of that, Extinction Level Event continues! The stakes haven’t been this high since the last time the stakes were this high! This time the fate of the whole planet is at stake as these valiant figures of heroic legend struggle like hell not only to reignite the sun but also to keep some measure of order going on Earth.

BUT!!

WILL WILL THEY SUCCEED??!

The discussion this week finds Magnus and Tom Panarese from the Pop Culture Affidavit blog and podcast study DC’s Final Night miniseries with a nigh-forensic detail of study. Panarese never said so out loud but it’s apparent that he’s going to forsake his life as an assassin for the goverment to pursue a career as a literature critic for the New York Times following the closing credits of this show.

Yes indeed, art is painstakingly analyzed, character dynamics are carefully reviewed and discussed and a wonderful time is had by all.

Is that enough hype for you?

If not, and for those among you determined to destroy true creativity online by constantly giving in to click-bait marketing tactics, “Panarese explains why the Final Night is *EXACTLY* like a string of dismal 1990’s disaster films AND IS MORE AWESOMEREST FOR IT!!!!”

Because of the epic splendor wrought by your emperor and his loyal podcasting vassal, there’s just no time for feedback this week. But that’s okay because the earlier chapters in Extinction Level Event haven’t had any either.

Even so, that shouldn’t discourage you! The rest of you humble serfs are always welcome to pay your feeble attempts at homage to your leader. DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept bribes to present your meager missives to your wise leader. The email address to use is excellency@trentusmagnus.com, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that’s a promise!

In an another sublime act of unprecedented charity, the leader permits you lowly rabble to kiss his ring regarding this or any other episode. Thus, notes of loyalty may be sent to excellency@trentusmagnus.com for DiManzocorp interns to review.
