“It eats meat!” And this time out on Earth Destruction Directive, that’s not just a general statement, as we take a look at 1979’s The Last Dinosaur, starring Richard Boone, Joan Van Ark, and one really big, really mean Tyrannosaurus Rex! “We” is also not just a general statement either, as I am joined by my good friend (and part time Massai tracker) Dr. Bill Robinson as we take a look at this… I hate to say “classic,” so let’s call it “vintage” US/Japan co-production made famous from it’s days on the airwaves as a TV movie. It’s got a pantomime triceratops, a crocheted purse, ad libbed technology which would make The Professor from Gilligan’s Island blush, and subtext which laughs at the word “subtle.” It’s one of a breed they just don’t make anymore, so download and give it a listen!
