The Man of Screen Podcast Episode 121 – The World’s Greatest Superfriends: Rub Three Times for Disaster/Lex Luthor Strikes Back

The hiatus is over.
In episode 121 of the Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo returns from his extended break to launch into the 1979 season of Superfriends, the season entitled “Worlds Greatest Superfriends”.
Mike will start by going over the format change for this season and discuss how the episodes will be different from what weve seen in previous seasons of Superfriends. A hint. Only two 22-minute episodes get coverage per week instead of four.
And the new season will lead off with an Aladdin-based story involving a lamp with a genie inside, an evil wizard and more. All you have to do is “Rub Three Times for Disaster”.
And then were going to go with a more comics-oriented episode as Supermans arch-enemy Lex Luthor escapes from jail with his new henchman Orville. There will be body swaps, bad ties and a mad scientist as “Lex Luthor Strikes Back”.
