Listen to the Prophets #28: Second Sight

Another Wednesday, another outstanding episode of LISTEN TO THE PROPHETS: A STAR TREK DEEP SPACE NINE PODCAST. Well, outstanding might not be the correct adjective that could be used to describe today’s episode, maybe more like passable…or marginal. Today, Shawn, Paul, and Andy take a look at the episode “Second Sight” which sadly has nothing at all to do with the John Larroquette/Bronson Pinchot comedy about a psychic. But it does have Captain Sisko chasing down a hot alien woman through the station…only to find out that she is the mental projection of the wife of an egotistical scientist played by the guy who narrated the tour in the first Jurassic Park movie. Confused yet? Don’t worry, that confusion will soon morph into bordeom and possible frustration that the good shows aren’t as frequent as they used to be. But stay until the end, as there’s probably some witty banter that will cheer you up (maybe, we recorded this months ago and I’m pretty certain Shawn has never really been “witty”).
