Listen to the Prophets #4: Babel

Welcome to episode #4 of Pants at Somewhere Gravity: A Flat Nostril Lunch…I mean, Listen to the Prophets: A Deep Space Nine Podcast. Sorry, I must have been suffering from aphasia, much like the crew of DS9 were on this episode entitled “Babel”. Unfortunately, the Chief’s repairs activate a hidden device that puts a virus in the food which causes those who eat from it to start talking in gibberish (much like Shawn when he hasn’t had enough sleep), and it’s up to Major Kira and a Bajoran doctor named after a cartoon chihuahua to find the cure. Plus Paul, Andy, and Shawn discuss how the concerns over a viral outbreak mirror what is happening in the U.S.A. right now. How prescient is that?
