In this week’s ball-rebelling episode, Magnus continues the Unfinished Business series by resuming his discussion from years and years (and years!) ago related to Threeboot version of the Legion of Superheroes.
“Eat It Grandpa”, the self-same continuation of the self-same Legion title, is the end product of Magnus vaping like a mad man and perusing Legion #06-#08.
What worked? What didn’t work? All gets discussed here.
But frankly, there’s not much about this comic that didn’t work. Mark Waid and Barry Kitson were on their A-game through this whole series. A lot of time, effort, blood, sweat and definitely some tears went into making the Threebot, for one brief, shining moment, the greatest Legion comic book there ever was. Until things changed, that is.
And why did things change? Well, that’s a bit of a rabbit-hole… which His Excellency eventually falls down…
For those determined to ruin the Internet for everyone else by perpetuating click-bait on Facebook, “You won’t believe what Magnus says about the Twilight movies!”
So what more do you need? Start listening right now! Otherwise, Brainiac 5 might instigate his next uprising against YOU!
Due to the deluge of ass-kickery this week, unfortunately there just wasn’t time for listener feedback this week. But don’t cry about it because there’s more coming in the future!
Patience! The vast backlog of feedback will be addressed in due time. Fear not!
In the meantime, though, don’t let the lack of feedback this time get you down! You can still offer your feeble effort at tribute! You humble serfs are always welcome to kiss your benevolent leader’s ring. Corrupt DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept your bribe to present your meager missives to your wise emperor. The email address to use is trentusmagnus@gmail.com as the other seems to be having technical problems.
In an another sublime act of truly unprecedented charity, your emperor permits you lowly rabble to suggest topics for a future episode. Thus, petitions may be sent to trentusmagnus@gmail.com for DiManzocorp interns to review, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that’s a promise!
