3rd Degree Byrne Episode 168: Alpha Flight #19

There’s nothing like the old days.  You remember back to when you started that first “REAL” job and became a professional.  All you wanted to do was impress and show your worth.  Well, that and to actually get paid.

So think back to the Summer of 1975:  Jaws had just hit theaters and started to change the landscape of cinema; Jimmy Hoffa was holding his last few public meetings before his famed disappearance. The US and Russia were prepping for the launch of their first ever joint space mission with Apollo-Soyuz.  Disco music was steadily gaining momentum and John Byrne was about to have his first true full time book.

That’s right, John Byrne and Chris Claremont would be putting out the Iron Fist comic shortly, but first, they would finish the run started in Marvel Premiere.  And that is what 3^rd Degree Byrne is here to cover.
