Greetings comic lovers, and welcome to another episode of Just One of the Guys, the show that is truly Marvelous! No, I’m not channeling late 1980’s Billy Crystal, I’m talking about the Green Lantern book, which features a guest spot from Earth’s Mightiest Mortal, Captain Marvel. Together with Green Lantern, he takes down a resurrected Egyptian god and does it without even throwing a punch. That’s how fricking awesome Captain Marvel is!

But what’s even more awesome is this week’s issue of Guy Gardner Warrior. This time out, Guy is headed to the 1996 Toy Expo to check out the new line of Warrior action figures and view the pilot of Guy Gardner Warrior: The Animated Series. And as a bonus treat, we get to see the show rendered before our eyes by the late great Mike Parobeck. It truly is one of the most fun issues of Guy Gardner ever published; maybe one of the most fun comics published in the 1990’s. If you even have a passing interest in this show, go hunt down this book, you won’t be disappointed!
