Just One of the Guys Episode #31

Welcome back, lovely listeners, to another fun filled crossover event between Green Lantern and The Flash as I, along with podcaster extraordinaire Dave Walker, step back into the era where talking monkeys and big headed freaks in hoverchairs were all the rage. Well, I guess that could be 2011, as both the Green Lantern movie as well as Rise of the Planet of the Apes came out. But NO, I refer to the Silver Age, which this comic is gleefully apeing (see what I did there?). In parts three and four of the Gorilla Warfare storyline we get mauve colored flashbacks, Green Lantern pioneering both Pokemon and Mini Muggs, the old banana in the tailpipe gag, and the horrific labotomy of a supervillain. I mean seriously, who in the DC Universe would use their powers to mindwipe someone? I can’t believe that would ever happen…oh…nevermind. Anyhow, if you don’t want Rex the Wonder Dog to use his “force of mind” on you, I suggest you grab your mp3 player of choice, download the episode, and start to listening!
