After the Crisis on Infinite Earths, where worlds live, worlds died and nothing was ever the same, DC brought in John Byrne to reboot, revamp and revive Superman.
According to myth, God created the work in 6 days – well John Byrne created the legend of Superman in Six issues.
“The Man of Steel” made a huge splash, it was all over the news, it had great sales and ushered in the Post Crisis era of comics for DC.
It introduced the many fans to Ka-el for the first time
