In this latest ball-crashing episode, Magnus continues the critically-lauded Superman Megaseries with a discussion about the DC Comics Library hardcover reprint of the classic Kryptonite Nevermore/Sandman Saga that brought the titular hero into the Bronze Age.

Did Magnus love it? Hate it? Reluctantly accept it? Demand his money back? Tune in now and find out!

Also, we once again get into some listener feedback as you plebes try your pathetic best to give proper tribute to His Excellency's grandeur but fail miserably in the attempt. But Magnus loves you anyway.

If the rest of you lowly serfs have a suggestion for a topic, you should feel free to e-mail your grand leader at trentusmagnus@gmail.com and he might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!

It's the LAST GASP of Guest Editor's Month! Join Paul "The Producer" Spataro, Dr. Bill Robinson, Dave Atteberry and Chris "Hair Metal Hero" Tyler as they go out with a FULL-BLOWN ARNIE-THON!! In STARK CONTRAST to the unscripted, unresearched commentaries of Gardner and Honeywell, this commentary is a structured, acedemic analysis of this oscar winning masterpiece. Honest. Not a SINGLE Arnie impression. Nope. Not ONE.  Heads are gonna roll when the bosses get back!

Well, here we are.  75 dinners with the geeks.  And to be honest, at least half of us thought we'd never get this far.  Strange coincidence, exactly half of us are missing for this episode, but we've brought along our youngfrineds Matt and Sam to fill the Geek Seats, and they do a terrific job.  We talk a little about Entertainment Weekly Avengers cover story, some of the fantastic offerings from TwoMorrows Publishing, the fact that Books-a-Million can't do math, what it will take for digital to kill print, Matt tells the story of the time George Perez hugged him (great story!), the problem with comic shops, teh Star Wars black series Bespin Luke figure, web surfing and driving, the effect of getting older on collecting, Scott's official yet unofficial Star Wars Christmas CD, Correspondence with Meco, The Falcon as Cap and a chick Thor, what ever happened to the Domino's Pizza archvillain the Noid, the pronunciation of Ms. Tree's name, Futurama and Seinfeld, the death of Marvel Essentials and what's next, and the sad story of Miracle Phone.  Seriously.  That's all in one episode.  Don't ask me how, but we did it.

With Assistant Editor Month coming to a close here at Two True Freaks and myself, Shawn Engel, having to take on some extra editing duties at the network, these next two episodes will only contain one issue each. I ask you to hold your praises to whatever omnipotent being you praise as this will result in a shorter show and hence less having to listen to me, but the quantity doesn't reflect the quality. In fact, Green Lantern #123 continues the story arch dealing with Kyle and his odd turn of events over the past couple of issues, including him rebuilding the Corps, him getting married to Jenny, and the whole problem I had with the supposed miscoloring of Donna in issue 120. We're nearing the end of Ron Marz's run on the book, and it looks like he's going to go out with a bang, so unless you want to end up like Effigy from this issue, I suggest you grab your mp3 player of choice, download the show, and start to listening!

In this latest ball-shivving episode, Magnus kicks off the longwaited Superman Megaseries in observance of a certain Last Son of Krypton's 76th anniversary. In this inaugural entry in the megaseries, the focus falls on "The Stranger Who Stalks Smallville" from Superboy v1 #150 cover dated September 1968.

Also, we once again dip into listener feedback. His Excellency's loyal subjects try their pitiful best to render proper homage but their words fail to do justice to his awesomeness. But Magnus forgives them.

As for the rest of you lowly peons, do you have a suggestion for a topic? Feel free to e-mail me at trentusmagnus@gmail.com and I might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!
