In this week's ball-surveilling (because "ball-sodomizing" wouldn't make any sense) episode, Magnus gabs about Alias, the once-forgotten-but-now-coming-to-a-Netflix-channel-near-you property starring Jessica Jones.

Up for discussion this time around is Alias Investigations, the opening salvo in the Alias ongoing title. For being a MAX title, it's strange to think how much of this series ended up getting incorporated into mainstream Marvel continuity. I assume page 11 of the first issue is included in that.

What a sticky situation, eh?

You see, this episode marks the first chapter of a five part megaseries about Women in Comics. Comics concerning other female characters are coming soon.

After finishing up the Alias discussion, Magnus then gabs about Views from the Longbox episode 203: Eight Years and Holding. Apart from being an awesome episode of Bailey's show, it's a chance for His Excellency to kick some awesome science onto the unwashed masses' asses regarding where the Fanboy Muse has taken comic book-reading currently.

Is that enough hype yet?

If not, and for those of you who are determined to ruin the Internet for everyone else by perpetuating click-bait on Facebook, "You won't believe how many sodomy jokes His Excellency makes before the 20 minute mark!"

Because of all the comic book awesomeness, Bailey awesomeness and more comic book awesomeness, there's just no time for listener feedback this week.

But that shouldn't discourage you from offering your feeble attempt at tribute! The rest of you humble serfs are always welcome to pay your feeble attempts at homage to your leader. DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept bribes to present your meager missives to your wise leader. The email address to use is trentusmagnus@gmail.com, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!

In an another sublime act of unprecedented charity, the leader permits you lowly rabble to kiss his ring regarding this or any other episode. Thus, notes of loyalty may be sent to trentusmagnus@gmail.com for DiManzocorp interns to review.

Again, listener feedback should be sent to trentusmagnus@gmail.com since the other email address is having trouble right now.

In a special Mindless Drivel, Scott and Sara review episode two of Fear the Walking Dead and give their thoughts on how the story is progressing, writing issues and predictions of how this very different look at the Walking Dead TV universe will play out. Thrill to Junkie Johnny Depp puking, bitten boyfriends and Scott stressing about controversy that hasn't even happened yet (It's kind of his thing). Los Angeles is falling so come on in, the zombpocalypse is warm.

Join Scott McGregor and Sara Tonin as they take a shot from the Ultimate Nullifier for the Two True Freaks team and review the critically maligned reboot of the Fantastic Four franchise that has bombed at the domestic box office. Scott and Sara provide their thoughts about the movie from the perspective of a person who has never read an FF comic and one who has read the very first issues. Is this movie enjoyable for an unbiased viewer? Can someone who knows the group's rich comic history see any merit in this visual interpretation of the property? Book a flight to the Negative Zone (or Planet Zero....Yeah.) and join us for a rousing review of Fant4stic.

For some reason, Andrew suddenly got a hankering to watch LOIS & CLARK THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN a few weeks ago. Who can explain these sudden urges? This lead to him watching all of the episode featuring time-travelling snark master, TEMPUS! And, because it's no fun without an audience, he decided to invite you along as well. So join in as we watch one of the most maligned incarnations of Superman and wonder - does it really deserve the hate?

As we draw closer and closer to the final story in the 1990's Green Lantern run, Just One of the Guys takes a look at issue 179 of the book, where a weary, frustrated, and down right pissed off Kyle Rayner decides to go directly to the source of his problems and make like Rowdy Roddy Piper sans bubble gum (Rest in peace, good sir). Unfortunately the source isn't the writing desk of Ben Raab, but the shadowy government office of Major Force. But while Kyle is busy wrecking up the place, fellow Green Lantern John Stewart just happens to be in the neighborhood and tries to get Kyle to deal with his problems rationally. This goes about as well as you'd expect it to and "consequences" (Copyright Alan and Emily Middleton, 2014, all rights reserved) get handed out between our two heroes. It's definitely a middle chapter of the story, but it keeps us moving to what looks to be a satisfying ending. So unless you want me to include MORE Tommy Shaw soundtrack songs in upcoming episodes, I suggest you grab your mp3 player of choice, download the show, and start to listening!

As a wonderful little palate cleanser, the podcast geniuses behind LISTEN TO THE PROPHETS: A STAR TREK DEEP SPACE NINE PODCAST are proud to bring you episode 26, where Paul Spataro, Andy Leyland, and Shawn Engel revisit the Ferengi system of commerce with the episode "Rules of Acquisition". When Grand Nagus Zek senses an opportunity for wine trade with a race of unfortunately named aliens from the Gamma Quadrant, he sends his best man, Quark, to negotiate the deal. But the aliens aren't so willing to make the trade, and it's up to Quark's newest associate, Pel, to cememt the deal and make the duo insanely profitable. But Pel is hiding a secret that might bring the entire negotiation crashing down, and it all involves love...and a twist ending that is significantly better than anything M. Night Shyamalan has produced in decades. Plus, we get the first mention of an organization that will become one of the biggest threats to the series as well as the return of Wallace Shawn and all of his dangly lobed goodness. So what are you waiting for? Download the show, and make some time...to LISTEN TO THE PROPHETS.
